"One Cause; One Symbol"

Welcome to our blog, this is a space for AWESOMENESS! A space to share inspiring stories, family successes, hilarious hick-ups and perhaps snag a few new recipes to help move the food off the dinner plate.

Please submit your post and we will love to share them.

My young child has Autism, my brother has autism, and I have a learning disability that never was diagnosed. My older two aunt also are disabled, and are cared for full time. Before my son, I wouldn’t talk about my being learning disabled. I was bullied just like they talk about in the video, and choose as a child to hide my diagnosis. You wouldn’t know either if I didn’t tell you since I attend college. However, I have struggled with jobs, and college just like they mention in this video. Sometimes I wonder if I actually have a mild form of Autism. Sound bothers me, I get obsessed with art projects, I have trouble with language, and I often switch words around. I also get really stressed, and feel unable to handle the worry. Makes me sleepless, and well I up now at 1:30am not sleeping for the 3rd night in a row. Idk about me(if its Autism), but I know I’m trying to help my son. Videos like this help me understand him. I hope the world begins to understand Autism more as well! ;)
